2 weeks and 2 days...

It literally seems like yesterday that I was announcing my pregnancy.  My c-section is now scheduled for January 15th, 2 weeks from Friday. So close yet so far away. Even though there are times I feel like I have been pregnant forever, this pregnancy has gone by pretty quickly. I am having all kinds of mixed emotions about being pregnant and having this baby.....I told myself that I was going to enjoy this pregnancy more than the others for it may be the last.....I am sad in ways that I am not going to enjoy the joyful parts of pregnancy and relieved that the pain will be gone (even though its so worth getting a new baby!).  Newborns always bring such an amazing feeling to a home and I can't wait to meet this new little guy that was meant for our home! I am having feelings of joy and apprehension as well as feelings of inadequeacy.  Here are some of my concerns....  how do you find the time to give them all the attention they deserve and need?  How do you let them all know how much each one means to you in your own individual way, besides the obvious, time and attention and words of kindness? Anyone?

Christmas Break Fun.....

Due to the fact I am now 36 weeks pregnant, Olivia having Mono and Cytomegalovirus our Christmas Break has involved a lot of hanging out and relaxing,  so the fun part um not so much but, my kids did get to  go sledding.....with Olivia being terribly sick for the last few weeks (jaundice, rashes, blood work and ultrasounds etc.) she has missed all of the family Christmas Parties, School Christmas Parties, and some of the other happenings I felt she needed one fun thing to do, even though we have had some pretty strict orders from the doctor. Here are a few pics of the sledding.

Our Christmas was great! My mom and dad and brother were able to come eat dinner with us and we pretty much relaxed, played games and ate way too much food! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Intuition.....

Today I am so thankful for women and their intuition.....they always say mothers have amazing intuition and I have to agree.  I have been very blessed the last couple of days because of women who have followed through on their intuition.  One told me that she read a quote that said "never ignore a kind impulse"  and that is how she ended up on my doorstep.  This last week has been trying and I am grateful for those who have shown me that I need to be better on following through as they have.   Because of them my family and I have had our burdens lightened this week. So thank you!

Turning Pink to Blue .....What is my problem?

So I seriously need to kick it in gear...this baby is only about 5 weeks away and I haven't gotten anything ready, Bella came 5 weeks early, Olivia came 3 weeks early, and Ezra was 2 weeks early. So I have been having issues with moving my girls into the same room......why I don't really know other than I feel guilty. They already sleep together even though they have seperate rooms, Bella has already said that she is fine with letting us paint her room blue for Ezra so I can put the baby in the nursery so whats my deal? Olivia has the biggest room, a queen size bed and a bathroom in her bedroom, she's not thrilled about it but I don't have a choice unless I want to move her into the bonus bedroom (which she doesn't want) and then I have one more room to re-paint. Bella picked her paint and her bedding so I think I feel bad making her give that up even though she is always happy when we talk about moving her stuff into Olivias room. I think I just need someone to do it for me. My mom has always told me it doesn't matter what you do as a parent you will always feel guilty. (Don't look to close my sheets aren't ironed mom....lol) I am starting to feel really pregnant and I need to hurry this project up, especially with the holidays coming and my birthday and Isabellas. Someone give me some motivation!

What a Real Spud Looks Like.......

Yes I said Spud not Stud.......... I already have a Stud in my life!

You see I am proud to say I am an Idaho girl, even though I don't live there now...........I am loving the fact that my dad brought me real Spuds! The one on the top is one of the bakers that you buy at the store, not one of the ones that is even smaller that comes in the 5lb. or 10lb. bags. My friend saw these and about died........she has never seen such a Spud before! LOL! The beautiful thing is is that you only need one to make a pot of soup since they are so big! Instead of having to peel 8! My dad grew up farming and still works with farmers everyday. I grew up on real potatoes like these so I get all giddy when I get a box of them, those bags just don't cut it. So thanks for the real Spuds dad!
