California

In February we were able to go on a family vacation for a week to California.  We went to Disneyland and or kids loved it.  They were such good little road trippers in the car!

The girls were so excited to see the Disney characters however the picture taking and autographs were a little chaotic with four kids! The girls were able to trade pins while we were there and they really enjoyed it. The girls favorite rides this trip were Tower of Terror, Screamin, and my favorite Space Mountain!

Ezra was so excited to see Lightening McQueen and Mater.  He creid when we had to walk away from them and said he didn't want to leave them.  He love love loved the cotton candy and refused to share!

And Abe.....well lets just say it was a little hard with a one year old and I wouldn't recommend it.  He just wanted down!

We were able to spend some time at the Santa Monica Pier and play on the beach.  My kids love the beach.  My beautiful aunt and her husband met us there and it was fun to chat.  The girls loved making a huge dam with their fun daddy, Ezra wouldn't look at the camera and only wanted to throw sand at me, and Abe refused to touch the sand..he hated it.  It was kind of funny actually.  But, the funniest story was while we were driving there.  We were stopped at a stop light and Bella screams out "oh my gosh it's Hannah Montanas dad!" When we look over we see a  homeless guy sitting on a park bench who had long hair.  It wasn't funny that he was homeless just funny that she thought she saw a movie star.

I'm so thankful to be able to create memories with my family.

January 2011

January is a big birthday month for us...mine is on the 2nd,  Bellas is the25th and Abes is the 27th.
It's quite the month of celebration for us.

It's hard to believe that a year ago I looked like this and Abe looked like this. Where does the time go?
This was the morning I went in for my c-section at 6 am.  Jake so kindly took a picture of me trying to get ready...and we were late to the hospital....that would never have happened with baby number one!

Heres little Abe the babe on his birthday!

He LOVES it!

The traditional bath in the kitchen sink after the cake smash/eating session

We had to wake this poor little boy up from his nap to celebrate with his cousins and Grandma Ard and Grandpa Ard

And this little punky brewster is 5! I want to cry when I think that my baby girl will be leaving me for Kindergarten next year.

We were lucky enough to have the boy cousins from my side of the family come to visit us for  weekend.  I had fun practicing my photography skills on them as they froze in the cold....poor little Hunter almost froze to death! They were great sports and so fun to have around.  Ezra pretends to be talking on the phone and always tells me he is talking to his friend Carter...he loved Carter!

Olivia also played on a girls rec basketball team.  Sadly they did not win a game.  However, she learned a lot for her first year and had a good time with her friends!

December 2010

This was our Christmas card this year.  My sister in law took these photos and made these for me.

On Christmas Eve my dad and his wife came and stayed with us.  We had fun making gingerbread houses!

Ezra just wanted to eat the candy

The kids opened their pajamas and then Olivia read the Christmas Story to us and did a wonderful job.  She is becoming quite the little reader.

The kids were excited on Christmas morning and Santa spoiled them rotten....Abe wasn't to interested in his presents...he just wanted to eat a cinammon roll.

We had a wonderful Christmas. We woke up Christmas morning opened presents had yummy french toast and then headed to Boise to enjoy Christmas dinner with my sister and her family as well as my mom and little brother.

And Abe the Babe had his first haircut this month! He didn't like the spray bottle until he figured out he could drink the water out of it, and then he didn't want to let it out of his sight.

November 2010

For Thanksgiving we stayed home and were able to have my mom and my brother and a girlfriend of his come over for dinner.  I started cooking two days before....and it was worth it.  As much of a pain in the but it is I loved all the leftovers.  My mom makes the above jello salad by popular demand for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year.  In fact Isabella was able to talk her into making a second pan of it the day she left to go home.  What a good grandma.  Abe fell in love with it like the rest of us if you cant tell.

The girls were able to perform in November Fest this year.  Olivia is loving her hip hop dance class, her teacher told me she has seen awesome improvement from the begining of the year.  As for Isabella she doesn't care to go to dance unless its with full makeup and on stage performing.  These pictures are horrible but I didn't have a decent camera on me and the lighting was terrible.

A little behind...more of October 2010

October 2010

For some strange reason my husband thought kittens would be a good addition to our family...it only lasted about two weeks before the girls and him decided cleaning kitty poop and feeding them wasn't so cool....I refuse to have pets right now...I mean come on I have four little kids a husband and a house to keep up with!

We were lucky enough to have my two darling neices come for a visit! We loved every minute of having them here with us. Cousins are the best!

Since this was one of the first years since we have been married that I haven't been pregnant family pictures with everyone was a must according to Jake. The past few years I have only had my kids pictures taken...here are a few of my favorites....

My talented sister in law took the above pictures....you can check her blog.
