Summer 2009

So since 99.9% of this summer I have been nauseated, and been told my Olivia that she just knows I have the swine flu, I was begining to feel like I hadn't done much with my kids I decided to look through my camera....and now I'm not feeling like such a loser. Warning there are a bunch of photos! And I mean a bunch! This is a recap of most of the fun things we were able to do. Minus a camping trip, rhino rides, multiple boxes of popsicles, lots of hot dogs and marshmellows, five bee stings in 2 days, running through sprinklers, a trip to the dinasour museum, a fun time at the movie up, and lunch with friends here are a bunch of my favorite pictures of what we did!

Ezra now 14 months old

Isabella 3 1/2 years old and starting pre-school

Olivia, her mom's lifesaver, now 6 and starting the first grade

The three people that bring a smile to my face everyday
Fun at the Park

Loving the slide

Deciding wether or not this is the piece of bark he should eat

Loving his big sister for taking him down the slide

Catching a fish for the first time

Waiting patiently for her turn

Doing one of her infamous belly flops

These girls turned into fish themselves this summer

Loving being buried in the sand

Showing off one of her treasures
Watching dolphins from the beach

It was at the end of this pier that we saw a man catch a shark, and another catch a sting ray, and yet my brother, cousin, and husband still surfed near that pier everyday for a week

Trying to figure out where to go next without being held

Playing in the sand for a week at a condo on the beach

Poor baby hit her face in the rocks while trying to catch a crab

Sitting in a hot tub in 90 degree weather

Treading water for swimming lessons she was AMAZING this year! She could jump off the diving board and swim to the end of the pool, frontwards and backwards! GO LIV!

Isabella was amazing as well she would jump right in all by herself!

OH and P.S. it's a
BOY!

Two lines.....what does it mean?

It all started with WOW I'm so tired, I'm really emotional and very nauseated.
Surely I'm not pregnant I told myself.....I'll just take this extra test I've had laying around since I was trying with Ezra and jump in the shower......then as I'm in the shower my heart is pounding and I'm telling myself there is no way (but truly knowing deep inside what the real truth is).

I get out and sure enough theres one line, then two. NO WAY! I tell myself. Ezra isn't even one yet and he isn't even walking.

I get in the car and go for a ride to clear my head and leave the madhouse behind and as I'm getting into the car my husband says "your that emotional about something that your really leaving?"

"Yes" I tell him.

After an honest prayer I realize that my plan is not always The Plan. You see the two months leading up to this I was constantly thinking I could be done with three.....my body is a few pounds away from being back, I'm feeling like I'm sort of in control of everything....yeah I really feel good with three and content. But, I guess this little one is telling me differently.

I come home and tell Jake we need to go get the kids ready for church so we won't be late. He comes into the bathroom and says "what's this?"

"What do you mean what's this?"

"Are you checking for ovulation?"

"NO"

"Well what does it mean?"

"What do you think it means? It has two lines."

"Really?" and he begins to laugh.....and I begin to cry.

"There's no way!" he says.

"Well obviously there is, because I am." I state quietly.

We have recently just started telling our family and friends. I am almost sixteen weeks. We wanted to wait a while due to past experiences with miscarriages, and due to the fact I was having problems with my placenta being torn and irritated. Things are starting to look better now and we are very excited. I know I will be very very very very busy. But, I also know that I am very blessed. As I have gone into the doctors appointments and had ultrasounds the crazy thing is is that none of my dates match with the ultrasound dates.....just another reason for me to feel blessed enough to know that this sweet little spirit needs to come into our home at this time. I know things happen for a reason and although I am feeling very overwhelmed and inadequate I am very lucky and blessed to know that whatever his plan is will happen regaurdless of what I think. I can't wait to meet this new little one and have him or her in our home......January seems so close but yet so far away.

Ezra's 1 year pictures

I can't believe my baby is one! He is such a little stud! He started walking a week after his birthday and now thinks he can go an do whatever he wants. He's not much of a talker but he has learned from his sisters that if he screams he gets whatever he wants. His stats show that he is tall and skinny...like his sisters. He loves being outside and loves real food. We love him to pieces! I know this post is a little late but life has been crazy lately....so stay tuned.....

Isaballa goes to her first birthday party!

Isabella has been so excited the past few days! She got invited to her first birthday party! She has always watched Olivia go and has always felt bad, so now that its her turn she has no quams about telling Olivia that she's not invited.....luckily Olivia is happy and excited for her. She also made it very clear that I was to drop her off and not stay.....she is full of spunk let me tell ya! She wanted her picture taken for her special event.

Ezra turns 1!

What a nice boy! He wants to share!

I have never had a baby love their cake like he did! It was so much fun!

He was in loooove with his cake

Taking the dive

The first taste..

He wanted to touch the candle

Love this little guy!

His sisters were dying for him to play with his new toys

Not so sure about the present thing

Aren't these fun!?!

If my girls are missing I can find them doing this

At her Kindergarten graduation getting ready for the Hawaiian dance

She had to have her hair down...she is 3 for sure!!!

What a ham!

I know I have been slacking on blogging lately but life happens right!?! We have had a dance recital, kindergarten graduation, filing in at work, the lovely flu, watching many close friends go through major trials, putting our yard in, our 7 year anniversary GO US!, and Ezra turned 1! As always I have pictures to share from the past few weeks. I know they are backwards but oh well I don't have time to fix them!
